| How can you make your make-up last all dayEvery woman needs advice on how to make her make-up last her entire wedding day. There are many stories about brides who had their day ruined by make-up that was not applied to last. It is a highly emotional day, lots of crying and hugging and kissing. If you are a bride, you are going to want to pay extra special attention to your make-up that day. The reason? If your make-up runs, it will run all over your dress, every family member you kiss or hug and you are not going to look your best. On top of that, think of all the pictures that are taken throughout the day.
Applying your make-up for your wedding is not the same as every day application. Some people hire someone to do their make-up professionally, but this isn't always necessary. If you know where to start and how to apply, then you can do your make-up yourself and make it last all day and well into the night. First, begin with the foundation. You should find a waterproof, expensive foundation that will not run or smear. Apply the foundation with a make-up brush or sponge so that the oil from your fingers does not compromise your foundation. Apply a thick layer, being sure to blend into your neck so no color disparities occur. Next, apply a powder over the foundation to make it stick. Carry the powder with you throughout the night for occasional touch-ups. Then take your blush and a bronzer. Apply the bronzer lightly just beneath your cheek bones and on your forehead and nose. Then take your blush and apply it directly on top of your cheekbone to add definition. Next, begin with your eyes. Make sure that all of your eye make-up is water proof in case you cry. Apply a generous line with liquid eyeliner on your upper lid. Make it smokey by applying a regular eyeliner on top of that and then smudge it slightly. Then, take whatever color eyeshadow you choose and apply the lightest on your lid, the next darkest on your crease and the darkest on the outer corner. Then put your fake lashes on, or apply several layers of mascara. Finish your look with a brand of lipstick that lasts for 12 hours. Be sure to carry the lipstick with you just in case and always have your powder with you. If you are proactive about applying your make-up, you should not have to worry about it coming off. If you complete the process in the way that has been described, you will look beautiful long into the night. It really will be the best day of your life, no matter what! | |||
