Tips for working with your DJ
Must Do

Research your DJ

DJ's set the mood for a good chunk of your wedding so you can't just hope they'll be good. Make sure you ask friends and family, scour the internet.

Listen to your DJ.

If you can, see your DJ in action, either through tapes or in person. Few DJ's will even invite you to see them at weddings (other peoples ofcourse). Best bet is to use a DJ whose wedding you been to. At a minimum meet your DJ, make sure they are exactly the type of person you want as your DJ.

Should Do

Dance, Dance, Dance

Dance, Dance, Dance. In order to do that make sure you DJ knows the music you hate, the music you love and most importantly the music that will get people on the dance floor. There is nothing worse than an empty dance floor.
